an immune boost
The pace of 2026 has been swift to start and I’m embracing it. My routines feel good with some of the changes I kicked off in the New Year and I’m still ironing out certain workloads. We are still in the thick of flu season though in the US and I’m doing everything I can to give myself the boost that I need for my immune system.
Two simple things that I won’t be compromising on that will be so helpful in the long run: Sleep and Juicing. Getting 7-9 hours a sleep a night is so underrated. While sleeping, your body is able to recover and produce infection fighting cells and proteins. For the past 5 months I’ve been sleeping with my phone in a another room while using my Hatch Restore 3 Alarm to wake me up in the morning. With customizable sunrise settings that make me feel like I’m waking up in ultimate peace. I have the Hatch app on my iPad (do not have the same apps on your iPad as your phone if you can help it.) where I’m able to schedule multiple alarms based on my weekly routines. It does come with a subscription but I’m glad the product on it’s own has quite a bit of features that that you don’t need a monthly or annual plan for. Also the color options were so intentional, it matches my comforter set and bedroom color scheme. Sometimes I have to think twice about buying something for the home, the current vibe just cannot be thrown off.

Batch juicing has been a life saver. Sometimes you just need 2-5 glasses in your fridge to give your body the boost it needs. Juicing helps by providing antioxidants, helps relieve oxidative stress, and reduce inflammation within the body. I made a super easy 3 ingredient recipe: 2 bushels of carrots, 6 oranges, and a dash of turmeric. It was so refreshing and the carrots have beta-carotene which converts into Vitamin A for collagen and anti aging benefits. I’m all for trying out new methods but sometimes it’s best to start with your foundation to see what you can optimize and improve for wellness and well-being. Outside of movement, quality sleep and juicing have been the biggest priority for me maintaining the pace that this year will bring.
